--🎨 What makes something “art”? – Is it skill, intention, or the audience’s perception?

That is such a great question. I think art can be all three at different times. Skill definitely plays a role, especially in traditional works, but intention matters just as much because even a simple piece can carry meaning if the artist puts thought into it. At the same time, I believe the audience’s perception gives the work life. A painting or sculpture can mean something completely different to each person who views it, and that makes the experience unique every time.

Do you think one of these, skill, intention, or perception, should carry more weight than the others, or are they always equal?
