“My Thoughts on Art and Culture”

I mostly agree with the definition of art described earlier because it emphasizes the skill and imagination of the artist and how human culture influences artistic creation. However, I think it is missing the role of the audience and the emotions art can evoke—art is not only what the artist creates but also how people experience and interpret it.

My definition comes from a subjective perspective, because what counts as “art” can vary from person to person and culture to culture. One piece of artwork might move one person deeply but not affect another at all, showing that personal experience plays an important role in defining art.

I mostly agree with the definition of art described earlier, particularly in how it highlights the skill and imagination of the artist, as well as the influence of human culture on artistic creation. However, I believe it overlooks an essential aspect: the role of the audience and the emotions art can evoke. Art is not only defined by what the artist creates—it is also shaped by how people experience, interpret, and connect with it.

My understanding of art comes from a subjective perspective, because what qualifies as "art" often varies widely between individuals and cultures. One person might be deeply moved by a work of art, while another might feel nothing at all. This shows that personal experience plays a major role in how we define and value art.

In my view, art is a dynamic interaction between creator, object, and observer—all three are needed to complete the artistic experience.
