Arts

I agree with the definition of “art” in the previous description, but I also think it can’t be fully captured by just one definition. Art is broad and constantly evolving, so any attempt to define it will always leave something out. For example, art is not only about beauty or skill but also about expression, communication, and even provoking thought.

What I find missing is the emotional and cultural impact of art. A definition should include how art reflects personal feelings and shared human experiences, and how it can influence or challenge society.

My own understanding comes from a subjective perspective because I see art as something personal. What may be art for me might not be art for someone else, and that uniqueness makes it meaningful.

I like how you pointed out that no single definition can fully capture what art is. I agree that art keeps evolving and that makes it difficult to pin down in just one description. Your focus on the emotional and cultural impact stood out to me because it highlights the way art connects people through shared experiences while also giving space for personal interpretation.

I also connect with your view that art is subjective. The fact that one person can find deep meaning in a work that another person might overlook is part of what makes art so powerful and unique. Do you think the subjective side of art will always outweigh attempts to define it in more formal or objective terms?
