Yes, in a way I agree with the Collegiate definition of art, as no matter what form one uses to create it, it brings some form of aesthetic appeal to a set room or area.
Now, in my personal definition of art, the medium of artistic expression is broader than that. It extends to music and its cover art, movies and its cover art, comics/manga. But it's controversial because of an artist's conflicted originality. Not all, some.
So ultimately, I view art as one that one does from one own heart and creative mind, not manufactured.
