I have had quite a bit exposure to visual art through many visits to domestic and European museums. I create fine shell art, inspired by the old sailor's valentines crafted on whaling ships in the 1800's. My medium are shells I gather on beach walks or procure with Antique frames/cases. My audience consists of people who have an appreciation for natural materials in art as well as those who enjoy maritime themes.
