Exposure to visual art

The prior exposure I’ve had to visual art has mostly come from my own curiosity and personal deep dives. That exposure has been from exploring different styles and mediums on my own, since my family wasn’t really into art, and school only gave us the basics—stuff like paint-by-numbers and posters of famous paintings. But over time, I found myself getting more drawn to it. I started playing around with digital illustration, designing album covers, and getting inspired by street art. social media also played a big role—seeing how people express themselves visually opened my eyes to how personal and limitless art can really be.

No, I don’t make art in the traditional sense like painting or sculpting, but I do express creativity in my own way—through writing, coming up with ideas, and helping others shape their artistic visions. If I ever got into making visual art, I think I’d be drawn to digital collage or mixed media, something that mixes photos, textures, and bold colors. I’ve always been into art that feels raw and real, so my style would probably be a bit messy and emotional. I’d want it to speak to people who feel out of place or are searching for something honest. Even though I’m not actively creating visual art right now, that urge to make something meaningful is there.
