My prior exposure to visual art has come from a mix of school and personal exploration. In school, I learned the basics through art classes and projects, which gave me a foundation in drawing and painting. Beyond that, most of my real appreciation for art has come from personal interest—visiting galleries, looking at art online, and experimenting with sketching on my own.

I do make art, though mostly on a small scale. My main medium is drawing with pencil and ink, sometimes combined with watercolor. My style leans toward expressive and illustrative rather than strictly realistic. I create primarily for myself, as a way of relaxing and expressing ideas that are hard to put into words. Occasionally, I share my work with friends or online, but the audience is usually very small.

Even if I weren’t making art, I think I’d still want to try it—especially digital art and mixed media. The idea of combining traditional hand-drawn techniques with digital tools seems exciting because it opens up more creative possibilities.
