I do agree to that definition of "'art'" in Unit 1's previous description. I might not be as wise as a crafted lesson to disagree. Though, I want to say there is not a missing thing in Unit 1's previous description, definition of "'art,'" I should say there may be many more details; That I find is missing. Still, Unit 1's previous description, definition of "'art,'" seems to be as an introduction and I know introductions are brief and succinct by purpose.
My definition of art
"Art is a method or mode of expression or communication." I may say that this definition of mine comes from an objective perspective. Though, I could also say that this definition of mine does have an essence of my personal opinion and bias about art. Ultimately, I find safe to say this definition may be indeed objective.
