on this painting I can see that the fisherman caught couple of big fishes which can be an accomplishment, however there are some big waves and dark clouds coming which also spill out from the tittle 'the fog warning', we cannot see the mans face so its difficult to read his emotions but his body language (holding tight to the paddles, looking into the distance) tells that he is analysing his situation and is aware of uncertainty in the near future, his looking into the distance give many different interpretations, in a way I think the viewer puts on and reads the emotions
