I have made a quilt before and thought it was artistic although today I would say it was more a craft than art. I took a stained glass class taught by an art teacher however her art school did not consider it art it was a craft. Even though it was her primary medium. She ended up having to major in painting which she admittedly wasn't good at. And I agreed she wasn't good at it.
