My exposure to visual art includes both my and my family's taste for art, including family portraits, family sculptures, and family visual art paintings purchased. Since, I grew up with visual art paintings, beautiful photographs, and other artwork in my own home, I feel that I developed an appreciation for art earlier on. Art makes me think and relish over significance, beauty and back stories behind the artwork or the meaning thereof. It signifies an ambiance that creatives naturally want to take into and eventually develop their own art forms in response. Other exposures have been in school, from Pre-K into college, I have learned about art in history, sociology even math and of course literature. I've visited art mUseums and observed exhibits on several occasions which increased my interests and understandings of the meaning and purpose of certain artworks. I would love to learn further to develop my own art creations one day to both freely express myself, delve into my creativity as a practice and tell the world about myself as well as help others.

Great work on this post Charissa. Art also makes me think of the beauty and back stories behind the work.
