Most if not all of my art education came from public school. I’ve had some interesting role models and public school teachers who I’ve grown to love over the years. I think the practice of art over time has been the most important and influential component to doing art and making art. I’m still not good at it but I definitely enjoy the process, wether it is oil paintings, pastels or sculpting (my personal favorite).
Today I am considered an artist in my field although the creative process and content I produce is more digital and verbal. I love the creative variety of fantasies my clients come up with and enjoy embracing the first amendment to be myself, whole and true. In the future I would like to work with more visual effects and green screens. I learn how to use a new video editing program or software every couple of months so I will also be continuing that learning process, too.
