What I think of art.

What I think of art.

I think I agree with the explanation of art.

I felt like the attempt not to narrow the meaning with a single definition, instead used different views, was key. It aligned more with my understanding that art is a feeling within that wants to take a form.

The feelings won't always be the same, and so will it's form. So it can mean different things.

And if art is subjective or objective, it depends on if am the artist or the viewer.

Art is the conscious expression of human creativity and skill, often intended to evoke emotion, convey ideas, or create beauty.

For the "...evoke emotions, convey ideas or create beauty" - I will agree, that's art speaking.

But for "conscious expression"
No, art can be unplanned too.
If consciousness was the guiding key, then you might compromise authenticity trying to achieve conventional standards. Then all cups would be looking the same.
And We will start drifting to architecture and science.

Then you said "Skilled."
Skill is subjective.
What, say musician, can we all agree to be "skilled?"
None.

"Often intended to" limits the entire art process to simply doing a result focused job.

Summary: If you view it and it speaks to you, then it's probably art.
It doesn't have to be conscious or skilled or intended to.

I still stand by my "can mean different thing to different people"
