I agree that art is largely defined based on how it expresses human emotion and experience. I think it is only complicated by the difference between "fine art" and "popular art". For example, a classical masterpiece vs a modern cartoon. People often talk about how modern art isn't really art anymore. But I disagree with that. I think that modern art is making the expression of the human experience more accessible to the average person. I would say my opinion is mostly subjective. It's based on my personal opinions.
