In The Fog Warning, I see a fisherman alone in a small boat, rowing against rough waves while looking anxiously toward a distant ship. The darkening sky and approaching fog create a sense of danger and urgency. To me, this painting shows the struggle between humans and nature—how the fisherman has worked hard to catch fish but now faces the risk of getting caught in a storm. It feels like a story about courage and survival, where he must hurry back before the fog surrounds him. The painting really captures the tension and determination of someone trying to make it through tough, uncertain conditions.
