Exposure to visual arts

Most of my prior exposure to visual art has come through school and personal exploration. In school, I was introduced to art history and basic drawing/painting, which gave me an appreciation for different artistic movements. Outside of class, I’ve experienced visual art mostly through museums, social media, and community events, where I’ve been able to see how diverse styles reflect culture and personal expression.

I do not currently make visual art in a formal sense, but I’ve always been interested in creative expression. I’ve experimented a little with photography and digital design, which allows me to play with colors, shapes, and storytelling through images. If I were to pursue art more seriously, I think I would enjoy painting or photography as a way to relax and express emotions. My audience would likely be friends, family, or a community group, since I would want to share art as a form of connection.
