Art is absolutely a conceptualized form of expression but it also acts as an open forum, historical marker and as tangible social commentary. Not everyone will experience similar emotions, cultural understanding, or will agree on the skillset of the artist, however; they will question its validity, infer on values of the time period (societal) and of those thoughts and values pertaining to its creator.
