Art is freedom and reflection; the freedom of sharing our experiences in a way that’s only understandable for those who have the eyes of appreciation. It doesn’t have to always beautiful, it can be tragic. There’s beauty in knowing not everyone will know that this—the art we share—is a us, what happened to us. Art is an escape from judgement and shame, art is strength and weakness all in one.
