My Prior Exposure to Visual Art
My exposure to visual art has been a mix of school, personal exploration, and cultural surroundings. In school, I was introduced to famous artists and basic techniques like drawing, painting, and understanding color theory. However, my deeper appreciation for art really developed through personal exploration—visiting museums, browsing art on social media, and watching documentaries or YouTube channels about art and creativity.
Do I Make Art?
Yes, I do make art, mainly as a hobby. I enjoy drawing and digital illustration. My medium is often digital tools like Procreate or Photoshop, but sometimes I use pencil and ink for sketching.
In terms of style, I lean toward semi-realism and expressive line art, sometimes mixed with abstract elements. My audience is mostly myself, friends, or people who come across my posts on social media. I’ve shared some pieces online but haven’t exhibited anything formally.
I haven’t made art yet, but I’ve always been interested in trying. I’m especially curious about painting or photography, and I admire styles like impressionism, minimalism, or street art. I think I would enjoy using acrylics or exploring digital art to express ideas or emotions. My goal would be to create something meaningful or just experiment creatively without pressure.
