In some ways, I can honestly say that the definition of art can be taken in so many different ways. One person could look at something that would eventually be considered art, while at the same time, another person could look at the same thing and feel that there is no way that the item could be considered art. For example, there are paintings out there that are looked at by someone and they see the hard work that a certain painter had put into that painting, but at the same time, that person could look at a sculpture and see it as just a lump of clay or a lump of stone. It is my opinion that the definition of art is eventually in the eyes of the beholder.
