My prior exposure to visual art has come from a mix of sources. At home, my family has always appreciated art, often sharing paintings and photographs that sparked my interest. In school, art classes introduced me to different styles and techniques, which helped me understand how art can communicate emotions and ideas. Outside of school, social activities like visiting museums and attending community art events also broadened my experience and appreciation for diverse artistic expressions.
I do make art myself, mainly through digital drawing and painting. I enjoy using digital tablets and software because they offer a wide range of colors and tools, allowing me to experiment freely. My style tends to be a mix of realism and fantasy, combining lifelike details with imaginative elements. My audience is usually friends, family, and online communities where I share my work to get feedback and connect with others who appreciate art.
Even if I didn’t already make art, I would definitely want to explore it because it’s such a meaningful way to express thoughts and feelings that words sometimes can’t capture. If I were to try a new kind, I’d love to experiment with sculpture or mixed media art to add a physical dimension to my creativity.
